Bac Castle
The medieval fortress of Bač is located in the northern part of Serbia, in Vojvodina region,near the town of Bač.
The fortress was built at the time of Hungarian King Charles Robert I in the 14th century.The fortess had eight towers.Fortress later became an important military and political seat.

In the 18th century the fortress was burned, destroyed and abandoned. Today, Bač fortress remained the best preserved medieval fortress in Vojvodina.
In the fortress ruins there are four lateral and one central tower height of 18 metres, which was partially reconstructed. |
