17th Haapsalu Early Music Festival

This festival, founded in 1994 in Haapsalu, one of the most beautiful resort towns in western Estonia, is regarded as one of the most prestigious of its kind in the country. It has also attracted the attention of many famous international artists.

The aim of the festival is to take professional musicians and the audience closer to the early music era through the high level performances given. The best place to do this is Haapsalu Dome Church from the 13th century. The organiser of the Festival since the very beginning has been the Concerto Grosso concert agency.
