Korab Mountains
Among Macedonian mountain peaks higher than 2.000 meters above sea level, the highest one, is Great Korab. The highest point of the Korab Mountains is the peak Golem Korab, 2764m. In 1996, a precise satellite measuring was executed, and a new height of 2864m was realised. This number has not been officially confirmed yet, so the previous height still remains. The part of Korab which lies on Macedonian territory, on its northern and western sides has the borders of Serbia and Montenegro (Kosovo) and Albania. Its eastern side is drawn by the river Radika, and in south it extends to the Zhirovnichka River through all its flow from the stream to its joining to the river Radika.
