Amphitheatre of the Aquincum Civilian Town

The elliptic structure, built from stone and compacted earth outside of the walls of the existing Roman town, dates from the middle of the 2^nd century. With dimensions of 86x75m, it was able to accommodate from 6000 to 8000 spectators.
