Frantiskovy Lázne
Frantiskovy Lázne (in German: Franzensbad) is a spa town and it is located in the western part of the Czech Republic in the Cheb district. Frantiskovy Lázne is the smallest one among the Western Bohemian spa resort triangle. Its thermal water was found in the 15th century. The spa town was officially founded in 1793 under the name Kaiser Franzensdorf and later renamed to Franzensbad. Frantiskovy Lázne is famous for its classical architecture of the spa houses and pavilions.
Its medicinal waters are coming from 23 healing mineral springs and are particularly effective for the treatment of vascular diseases, heart and gynecological disorders.  Frantiskovy Lazne |
